  • The powder is obtained from fenugreek seeds and contain saponins, mucilage, trigonelline, flavonoide, essential oils, lipids, proteins, manganese, silica, B vitamins, iron, calcium and phosphorus.
  • In cosmetics, the fenugreek is used as an ingredient in facial masks, generally in combination with neem powder to treat seborrheic skin. It is also one of the most common herbs used for strengthening the hair. Fenugreek is usually used in cases of severe hair loss, providing the hair with softness and silkiness.
  • Mix the powder with hot water mix until a paste is formed. Let the paste activate for at least 12 hours until a soft and gel-like texture has formed. Then mix with other Ayurvedic powders such as amla or neem. Apply to washed and damp hair, cover with clingfilm and leave on for 30 minutes. Rinse thoroughly with water thereafter.
